Course Description
This certification course is given over one and a half years. The 6 months Introduction to Ayurveda is a pre-requisite prior to starting this part of the course. Our schedule includes weekly live classes, quizzes and assignments. Certain weeks we may have classes on extra optional topics. Office hours will be made available by appointment. At the end of the online portion of this course, you will be awarded a preliminary certification in Ayurvedic Health Counseling.**
**Note: in order to fulfill the requirements set forth by NAMA for the Ayurvedic Health Counselor certification, you must also attend the 2-week in person intensive training in Hawaii. Please see here for more details.
During this part of our course we will be going into depth on many topics including doshic theory, diet/ahara, daily routine/dinacharya and causes of disease. Examination of some special topics such as the mind/manas, the soul/atman.
